We all got very cold this winter, especially me and my little hands. However I have a bit of an issue with gloves. That moment when you get on the bus and you either fumble about trying to grasp things properly with you sausage fingers while everything slips about, or option number two hold every one up while you try to gracefully take them off and quickly grab your money. Long story short finger less gloves are the way of the future. As usual I had to buy hand made, for the quality and to support others like me out there, and they had to look good.
Ladies fingerless mittens purple blue grey cream mix yarn.
These were perfect. My hands are super tosty and I don't have to panic as the bus approaches or when I walk into a shop. Liz uses vet soft but strong yarns so not only are my new gloves going to last forever I am also going to feel nice wearing them.
You can buy allot more from Mad Mum Knits too. The owner also has knitting patterns, scarves, tea cosys, and saucepan mats, as well as offering a custom order service. If I had a teapot I would definitely buy this pattern:

But for now I really want this to match my gloves and keep me warm:

So films are my passion. I was so happy when I found Britishmade because they cater to the films, and television programs, that tend to be overlooked and forgotten when it comes to fan art, cult film merchandise and general Geekery. I'm talking about those films most have forgotten and many just don't get. On the ultra plus side they will also make any custom piece you desire. Yay!!
I bought this beautifully made cup.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/168507561/the-life-aquatic-with-steve-zissou-mug
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou mug - 11oz (Made to order)
I know you are thinking a cup is just a cup. Well no it isn't because you can, and I have in the past had ones arrive chipped, with the picture peeling or fading, and worst of all on one the handle broke off when it arrived!!
Secondly I love having my geeky mugs. There is just something cool in having stuff like this around my house.
As usual I'm probably giving a little away about myself again.
I would love to have tease on my wall:

If you have not watched any of these yet then I honestly don't know what you are doing with your life.
Go watch them, love them, then visit britishindie and but all the cool shiz.
If you have already watched them and have been wondering where to buy all this stuff for years then go visit their Etsy shop:

OK this one might be a bit personal but it would be mean to leave out one of my favorite things in the world for the sake of me blushing a little. I wont go into too much detail though so don't worry. Suffice to say that I love burlesque, and looking sexy.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/170029655/glitter-covered-snowflake-shaped-nipple
Glitter covered snowflake shaped nipple pasties/ tassels with a sequin border.
These definitely make me feel sexy. I bough them over Christmas and I can not state how pleased I am with them. They are really comfortable, where others have itched and scratched, they fit perfectly, where others have either been too big or small fro the desired area, and they hide well under clothes, where others have stuck out and been too obvious. All this made them perfect for wearing on Christmas day. A little cheeky but a nice surprise for the boyfriend. All this praise comes from the quality and thoughtfulness put into making them.
Jennifer also does burlesque and this must be where her great understanding of what is wanted, needed, and desired comes from. You can even select the size and color you require at Rainbow Blush Boutique.
If you really want to feel sexy, and maybe a bit naughty then pasties are the way to go and this is the place to buy them.
I will definitely be buying more from her. Not only is the quality great but the designs are amazing. I wish I could buy everything in her store now!
My boyfriend already has his eyes on these:

Sequin covered, love heart shaped nipple pasties/ tassels. Various colours.
And for a little tassel twirling fun then these are adorable.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/170538987/sequin-covered-star-shaped-nipple?ref=shop_home_active

Remember if in doubt just jump about ;-)
I cant wait to see what other fun creations Jennifer comes up with. I hope that she will delve into the world of rhinestones, or even pastie, bow, and knicker sets.

You have to go check out her other items now!

I love monsters and all things strange. I figure if you carry the scary and unknown with you then what bad things could happen. Its like fireworks, the banging is scary until you see the bright and wonderful colors. That is what Angela's little guys are like.
Unique Monjoo keyring
So colorful and cute that you forget all the little devilish thing they did, scaring you by hiding under the bed and in the wardrobe. This little guy is safely kept on my Key-ring now, no way of escaping. Never will he scare me again.
Angela is a lovely lady to talk to and an excellent artist. She creates these little guys to get rid of stress and I can see how it works. By the end of making her little Monjoo family she must have a smile on her face. If I was her I would also be proud of how well made they are. This monster has been bouncing around me bag for weeks and not a bit has fallen off, believe me that's a rough ride.
I would love to have a collection of these. The two I have my eye on at the minuet are these:

I would also really love to see Angela create some of these guys as pendants, or bigger ones as figures around the house. She clearly has a great imagination and plenty of inspiration. If you look at her sold items, once you click on the link below you will see that she just keeps pulling these little monsters out of nowhere.

This was one from Etsy for my boyfriend who has a habit of chewing the front of his t-shirts. It drives me crazy! His mother did some strange make do and mend sewing on the holes that appeared but I just let him keep chewing till its ruined. Long story not so short I buy him allot of new t-shirts.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/154320858/beer-battery-low-t-shirt-pub-night-out
Beer battery low t-shirt pub night out alcohol funny mens womens
I bought him this one because I'm not going to spend mass amounts when his t-shirts don't last very long and because it made me smile. Boyfriend fact number two he likes his beer.
Its a really good fit on him, non of that short t-shirt, belly hanging out, cant lift your arms silliness hear. This is mainly due to the fact that the seller has an excellent and easy to use sizing system. Plus all that extra info you always wish you would of found out first is right there in the listing. I also like StoneTurtleUK because you can ask for different color combinations. Always a bonus when shopping for clothes.

Since Bubby (The boyfriend) loves the taste of his clothes so much I know I will be buying more T-shirts. If you know anything about me and my artwork then you know I just could not resist these two (I'm lucky Bubby lets me dress him up in whatever I like) The first is for him:

Featured Shop: GlassRoofBooks

Featured Shop: GlassRoofBooks

Owned by Sara

As I mentioned in my previous blog I love all things 50's, add this to the fact that I am an artist, of a sort, and I was ecstatic to find this (I use it as a sketch book)
Pink handmade journal with retro pin-up decorative paper
The paper quality is great and I have already filled a few pages. It is perfect for putting down ideas on the go. It is hard backed and comes in a wonderful pink cotton bag of its own, with its own little charm. Plus it is beautifully made and wont be falling apart on me any time soon. The images are printed on both sides which is quality you only get from buying handmade.
Sara is a lovely seller and I will be back as soon as my sketch book is filled so that I can get another one. Her shop includes other wonderful notebooks. Until my sketch book is filled I would love to buy this:

Owned by Rebecca Allen

I now own this amazing 1950's broach thanks to Rebstuff1
Vintage/ estate 1950s purple paste/ rhinestone flower brooch
OK so I don't own it, I bought it for my Mother for Christmas. Rebecca's shop was like a little magic find for me. After hours of searching for quality vintage stores, which also sold beautiful Jewelry, maintained to a high degree, I found this amazing shop. Her prices are also much better than others I have seen for similar items.
When the broach arrived I was so pleased to see that it had been professionally cleaned and didn't have any hidden damage. Plus its from the 50's, a period in time I am obsessed with. I know I will have to be buying more from her. Rebecca finds all the best that vintage jewelry has to offer. I usually only put one other item up but I just love these:
